How To Challenge
Occasionally, there will be scores that seem a little off, to say the least. A formal complaint can be filed by any user against another user by going to the Bitter Sweets board on the forums and providing:
- The song and difficulty in question
- The user id number and Popper name of the challenged user
- Evidence as to why you feel this score is a sham
A link is considered useful, please provide them when necessary. At this point, I will judge whether the challenge is valid, and if so, the user has some number of days (which I decide) to provide pictoral evidence of the score. A picture of the records screen of the game in question will always suffice.
Ending A Challenge
- Failing the challenge
- Challenged user fails to provide the picture within the determined number of days
- Challenged user submits a picture of an obviously worse score.
- Challenged user is antagonistic towards challenger without providing evidence.
- Passing a challenge
- User shows pictorial or video evidence of score.
- User fixes score to accurately reflect real data (in cases of typos or misclicks)
- User makes score private.
- Special pardon from administration.
Failing a challenge may lead to penalties being applied.
Restrictions On Challenging
- Limit your challenges to one or two at a time.
- Do not be antagonistic or abusive in your challenge.
- Do not challenge someone who is not in the top 20 for a song.
- Avoid challenging modifier settings/clear status unless absolutely necessary.
Issuing an excessive number of failed challenges may lead to revocation of your challenge privileges.
I don't have a digital camera!
If you don't have a digital camera, nor a friend with a digital camera, it's quite curious how you have enough cash for a modded or import PS2, a PopN controller, and a PopN game. Seriously, we have people who take the rankings seriously and if you have no way to back scores up, it's not fair to them. If you really don't have a camera and still want to use PNN, please mark your scores as private.
