In what will almost certainly end terribly for me, I am being dragged out of [retirement](https://www.vjarmy.com/benching-myself/) to make a "special" "appearance" on Matt Doyle's next Brown Liquor Special live stream, alongside my old DCist/OWFSS running buddy (and much more accomplished journalist) Pablo Maurer, **next Thursday (the 21st) at 9PM ET**.

Perhaps thankfully, my stumbling for coherent points about soccer will be behind the paywall, so please give Matt all your money if you really want to see this - and you'll get some great weekly soccer writing on top of that.
