Speedball said it perfectly: “I f’ing love pro wrestling. Not just for the art form, but for the community.”
The show was a testament to that community, coming together to help Jeff Cannonball and his family following his ALS diagnosis. No tribalism, no company wars, just the loudly beating heart of independent pro wrestling. (Somehow my first show in an overheating high school gym, just to make it a little more on the nose.)
Thanks so damn much to everyone involved in a show I won’t soon forget.
