A great first show from a new company. The matches were solid, with ZSJ vs. Darian Bengston an easy favorite given my love for both guys. The crowd was surprisingly energetic for a debut, though I suspect at least half the crowd had been up past midnight the night before for the AEW show. And the venue, while a little more out of the way in Red Hook for a Monday night than most people would want, really pulled everything together well.
Abel Ferrera was there too, playing music to break up the card. Just one of those Brooklyn things.
Produce already has a hefty schedule charted out - bouncing between Jersey City and Brooklyn, with a trip to Montreal and Los Angeles now in the plans as well. They've set a pretty high bar for the first show - here's to hoping they sustain it.
